Moving update in 3 . . 2 . . 1 . .
We're moved in now.  Not gonna say "all moved in", cause there's still plenty of unpacking to do.  I also need to go grocery store and get tasty items for consumption.

All told, the place looks really nice.  I did just enough shopping around to find the good deals, and ended up furnishing the place with new furniture, instead of used.  If I would've gone used, I'd only have saved $20 here, $30 there.  I know it adds up, but I also wanted to keep in mind that if something horrid happens to the new stuff real quick, then I can get em replaced.

Cable guy is coming tomorrow to hook up the cable and internet.  Yay for TRUE broadband!  Haven't had it in AGES.  I got me a good broadband router and cable modem from Best Buy.  With the rebates, the discount coupon I had, and Best Buy Bucks, it made more sense to do that than lease one from the cable company.

Just a bit ago I got my cat Bahgeera and all his stuff moved in here.  He HATES car trips.  Howls through the entire thing.  He's busy exploring the place now, but he's damn glad that this wasn't another 16 hour drive.  He is complaining about how everything is different, though.  He'll get used to it.

So anyways, I'm alive and safe.  And still busy.  But since I got my computer hooked up, I wanted to prove that I'm not dead.  At least, not yet.

Now, onto the mystery boxes marked "Stuff".
